Starting a Business in the Sustainable Economy?

Entrepreneurs starting up new businesses in a sustainable economy were the first participants when the E4S Network launched in 2000. They remain an active and important part of growing a sustainable economy. By continually promoting the new business opportunities in sustainability, E4S has created a fertile ground for new start-ups. As a result, numerous start-up businesses have emerged from connections and learning made at E4S Network Events and many of these start-ups have since matured into established businesses.

Participate in E4S Network Events

E4S Network Events are the perfect place for entrepreneurs to connect with customers, suppliers, peers and investors. Also consider the value of purchasing an exhibitor table to display your products and services at an E4S Network Event. If you are interested in presenting your start-up at an E4S Event, keep an eye out for the annual E4S Start-up Business Showcase held each April.  See all upcoming events >>

Participate in E4S Start-up Business Roundtables

Starting up a new business is challenging and can be lonely.  The E4S Start-up Roundtables give entrepreneurs in the E4S Network an opportunity to network with their peers, share best practices, discover new opportunities, and get advice on how to meet the challenges of starting up a new business. Each month we invite a special guest entrepreneur to present their business, a business challenge and gain advice from their peers and an expert panel. Participate each month to learn lessons from other entrepreneurs that will help your business succeed.  See all upcoming events >>

Add Your Start-up to Our Business Directory

The E4S Sustainable Business Directory is a living database of the businesses and organizations in Northeast Ohio who are implementing sustainable business practices and offer sustainable products and services. E4S Members receive enhanced listings in the directory.  View the directory >>

“When telling the Evergreen story, it is important for the community to understand the contribution that E4S delivered to this initiative as it was in its formative stages – the ‘value added’ cannot be measured!”
