Deanna Pickett would never make grandiose comments about her efforts to save the planet. Even at 22, she is too mature to be that boastful. But Pickett, a remediation program manager for ABS Materials, is proud that she has been able to leave a positive imprint on the environment. And the fact she was recently named a Champion of Sustainability by Entrepreneurs for Sustainability, a local environmental advocacy group, indicates she is justified in feeling that way.
