Celebrate the coming growing season with fellow Akron based local food practitioners on Wednesday, February 8th at Musica.  Meet the business owners, growers, urban gardeners and community stakeholders that are accelerating the growth of the local food industry in Akron and Summit County.

  • Crown Point Ecology Center farmers - CSA report
  • Karen Thomas - Community Gardening group update
  • Beth Knorr - Corner Store project update
  • Jerry Egan and Chris Norman on Food Desert maps for Akron
  • Update on the Food Charter presented to Summit County Council 
  • Break out sessions for interest groups 

Display Tables:

Display tables are available for businesses and organizations who wish to exhibit their products or services at this event. Full tables are $100, half-tables are $50. Call Grace at (216) 451-7755 if you are interested in registering for a table.
