From innovative energy efficiency projects, to green buildings, to cafeteria`s filled with local food, universities in the region are leading the way towards a sustainable economy.

But what else might be possible if all 27 NEO universities - with over 200,000 students and an annual budget of nearly $3 billion - worked together to have an even greater impact?
