Workshops

E4S works collaboratively with our strategic partners to create innovative workshops that will assist organizations with sustainability implementation projects.

Past workshops have focused on renewable energy, energy efficiency, combined heat and power and energy generation with stationary fuel cells.

Workshop agendas generally include technology 101, funding resources, case stories and local resource segments.

Most recently E4S held a Solar Challenge Workshop and a Solar Thermal Hot Water Heating Workshop with Green Energy Ohio and the City of Cleveland Division of Water.

Upcoming workshops in the planning stage include: Solar PV Power, Solar Thermal Hot Water Heating Installation and Training Workshop, Small to Medium Wind Power, Reducing Your Organization’s Carbon Footprint, Advanced Energy & Manufacturing, Starting a Renewable Energy Business, Biomimicry and Advanced Energy Efficiency

Reflection

Using widely available energy-saving materials and equipment, most building managers can reduce their energy bills by at least 25% to 40% through basic weatherization, hot water savings, and a few other simple and cost-effective measures.
