How has the nominee implemented sustainable business practices in his or her business or organization?
Lee Ann is a fulltime student at CSU, working closely with a faculty advisor has organized a grassroots student group dedicated to environmental issues pertinent and beneficial to the university. She has developed an organization, organized several fund-raising events, and is focused on developing the needed funding for a roof-top garden within the university`s existing building program. The faculty has recognized her organization`s passion and success to-date and is now funding her efforts and those of select others (i believe) such that her team can see this program thru to the end and finance the design and implementation of this planned rooftop garden.

What are the triple bottom line benefits (people, planet, prosperity) of the nominee`s work?
Lee has embraced her true personal passion for a more-perfect environment, reached out and found like-minded students who also embrace this vision, and has gained the financial and emotional support of the faculty involved in overseeing such student programs.

How has the nominee inspired you to implement sustainable business practices?
Lee is my daughter and has always been a beacon of inspiration, upon deciding on a project she intensely focuses and directs her energies and inspires others to join her in her pursuits. Her passionate approach to all she strives to achieve give me personally great hope in the following generations and their return to a more wholistic and harmonious relationship with our environment.

How can someone else translate the success of the nominee? Is the work of the nominee an example or model that others can follow?
Every academic institution can learn from her and her team`s efforts. To reach for a meaningful goal that can have positive impact on the earth, while working together in a team approach, offering opportunities to learn, lead, and manage.

How does the nominee actively participate in the sustainability community? How do they collaborate and share their knowledge with others?
Her organization meets on a regular basis and takes on various activities that will get them to the long-range goal of funding this rooftop garden project.
