Betsy Blaisdell is the Manager of Environmental Stewardship for The Timberland Company, headquartered in Stratham, New Hampshire. 
In this capacity, Betsy is responsible for implementing programs and policies designed to reduce Timberland`s environmental footprint. Specifically, she leads the execution of projects that reduce energy, chemical, and resource use at Timberland owned and operated facilities worldwide and supports internal teams in adopting more sustainable business practices.
Aside from her focus on Timberland’s environmental stewardship, Betsy is also involved in several cross-brand initiatives aimed at improving the environmental performance of suppliers, including AFIRM (Apparel and Footwear International Restricted Substances Management) on restricted substances. She also has served on the executive committee for a group of brands and tanners that has developed an environmental protocol for auditing leather tanneries.
Prior to joining Timberland, Betsy served as the Industrial Energy Manager under NH governors Benson and Shaheen. She also co-developed the nation`s first mixed plastics recycling/manufacturing facility under a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
