By directly applying to his own organization the innovative solutions to energy efficiency acheived through simple changes in engineering and design of buildings.

How does the nominee actively participate in the sustainability community? How do they collaborate and share their knowledge with others?

Mr. Kiser's systems have eliminated the emmission of over a quarter million tons of CO2 for his clients, large and small, resulting in significant cost savings, and a long list of testimonials from very pleased customers.  Mr. Kiser is a very active speaker on the national and international platforms, sharing his approaches to audiences around the world.

How has the nominee inspired you to implement sustainable business practices? What is your relationship with the nominee: supervisor, employee, peer, father, friend or other.

With funding from the Wege Family Foundation, Mr. Kiser is helping ASU create a multi-disciplinary curriculum for a unique hands-on undergraduate minor in energy engineering and design.  Future graduates will be capable of seeing the relationship between energy and the built environment in a new and creative way.

Mr. Kiser's approaches to energy have led Fortune Magazine to designate him as "America's Energy Coach".
