How has the nominee implemented sustainable business practices in his or her business or organization and what are the triple bottom line benefits (people, planet, prosperity) of the nominee's work?

Although recycling is his job, he lives and breathes the idea of sustainable living.  He gardens, he composts, He is always conscious of reducing waste and eliminating wasteful habits.

How does the nominee actively participate in the sustainability community? How do they collaborate and share their knowledge with others?

A big part of his job is education.  He goes out of his way to share the messages of zero waste and sustainability, without being over the top. Also, I have heard he is involved with the city of Bratenahl, where he lives, in getting a wind turbine.

How has the nominee inspired you to implement sustainable business practices? What is your relationship with the nominee: supervisor, employee, peer, father, friend or other.

I met him through e4s Zero Waste Core Group. He has inspired me.  I am now more passionate about waste reduction and composting than ever.

How can someone else translate the success of the nominee? Is the work of the nominee an example or model that others can follow?

Tough act to follow in that you cannot duplicate somebody's passion.  Yes he is a model to follow. He shoudl be a mentor to others at Cuyahoga County Solid Waste Management District.
